About us

Principal- Marina Bill
Marina trained as a dancer then completed a teaching degree. After having children she founded the dance school in 2001 to be able to deliver high quality dance teaching and to offer the opportunity to perform for all students regardless of age of ability. Since then the school has gone from strength to strength offering a wide range of classes for little ones from 18 months to adults.

Head Girl - Sammi Graver
I’ve been at Norwich School of Dance since I was 3 years old, my confidence has grown since being here, making lots of great friends. During this time I’ve gained dance qualifications in ballet, tap and modern. I have enjoyed being apart of the ‘Performers' dance group and getting the opportunity to perform at the Ipswich Regent Theatre and other events around Norwich. After gaining my A levels at Sprowston High school I went on to get an apprenticeship at Once Upon a time nursery school which I have now completed with a distinction! I love working with children, supporting their development, watching them grow and succeed, and preparing them for school. As well as my Monday-Friday job, I’m also a swimming teacher for Norwich Penguins. My future goals are to gain more qualifications in early years to support me becoming a primary school teacher.

Dance Teacher - Hannah Grimes
Hannah trained in Norwich and performed in the first show Norwich School of Dance put on in 2003. Hannah completed her training at Performers College before working as a professional dancer. Hannah has now settled back in Norfolk and has returned to NSD. We are pleased to have Hannah on our teaching team.

Musical Theatre Teacher - Olivia Jermy
Olivia danced at NSD throughout her youth and enjoyed being a part of many of our shows over the years. She was in our first show back in 2003. She has gone on to train as a singing and instrumental teacher and now teaches at schools across the county. We are pleased to have Olivia back at NSD teaching the next generation.
At Norwich School of Dance we endeavour to make our classes accessible, focused and enjoyable. We believe learning is at its best when students are relaxed and love what they do.
Classes are available for all ages and abilities. We follow the ISTD syllabus for Ballet, Tap and Modern dance. In addition we run classes in choreography, contemporary dance, creative dance, and acro.
Our school is in its 20th year and we have a premises on Hall Road where we have a large studio with a sprung floor and a second studio and a dance supplies store, selling the relevant uniform and accessories.
